Before you decide, know the facts. Explore the plan
In December of last year, we introduced an initial round of community grants, under which we would distribute $500,000 to local non-profit organizations before June 30, 2024.
Over the past three months, we have been overwhelmed by the caliber of applications we’ve received from a broad array of important and deserving initiatives, and by the opportunities to make a difference with non-profit funding. Each proposal reflected the passion and commitment of individuals and organizations working to make a positive impact on Solano County.
At this time, we are closing the application process as we finalize the careful evaluation of each submission, and make our decisions about how to allocate the grants. The decision making process promises to be difficult, as we recognize the huge potential in so many of the projects submitted.
To everyone who submitted: your dedication to helping and improving this community is truly inspiring.
We look forward to unveiling the selected projects in the coming weeks and to seeing these ideas and endeavors come to life in the community. Thank you for your commitment to Solano County!
