Current residents will not pay for this. That is not a promise. It is a guarantee.

There is an ironclad guarantee that the Suisun Expansion Plan must pay for its own infrastructure, including all of the streets, utilities, and all public improvements needed for new homes and businesses. Existing Suisun City residents will not pay for any aspect of the project.

These protections will be written into the Development Agreement and other legal entitlements that must be approved by Suisun City before a single shovel hits the ground. No approval, no construction.

This project also adds to the tax base; it does not take from it.
