Water
The water is already assembled.
The Suisun Expansion Plan will not draw from Suisun City's or Solano's existing water supply. The project has assembled its own independent water sources from CF’s own land holdings and from outside of Solano County for the full project buildout, even in drought scenarios.

Before any construction can begin, California state law requires a formal Water Supply Assessment as part of the Environmental Impact Report process. The project must prove it has sufficient water for decades, including during droughts, without interfering with anyone else’s supply.
Suisun Expansion has a projected total water demand of 43,000 acre-feet. Of this, 16,000 acre-feet of uses including industrial, landscape irrigation, and other non-potable uses, will be met with recycled water generated by the project, leaving a demand of 27,000 acre-feet. This net water demand is easily covered by over 29,000 acre-feet of water supplies that already have been assembled by California Forever, including existing surface and ground water uses on California Forever properties.
Independent water sources
Secured from CF’s own land holdings and from outside of Solano County, with no draw on Suisun City, the Solano Irrigation District, Solano County Water Agency, North Bay Aqueduct, or Lake Berryessa.
Sufficient water for full build-out
California Forever has assembled sufficient water for 174,000 homes plus all commercial and industrial uses, with drought reserves.
