California Forever is a project that has the potential to redefine urban and regional planning in California and even the United States, for the better. Despite having the fourth-largest economy in the world, California is facing serious threats to its economic and social prosperity due to out-migration, unattainable housing costs, and a high population of unhoused residents. California Forever has the chance to reimagine what our cities can and should be. California Forever will not only increase sustainable transportation and promote a high quality of life for a fraction of the cost, but it also has the potential to redefine the master planned city completely, into something we have not yet seen in the United States.

Building a city that prioritizes human-centered mobility over automobile-centered sprawl can reshape the thinking and planning that goes into making great cities, while adding much-needed housing stock in a sustainable fashion and at an affordable rate. As a California native of 23 years, I fully support the creation of California Forever's new city in Solano County, and I hope that the elected representatives pass the necessary legislation to help make this new city a reality.
