We must build and expand the United States of America. California has SO MUCH untapped potential. We just need to build the infrastructure to expand – let's go USA.

I learned about the project via the Navy; I see opportunity to reindustrialize, while employing americans at a more advanced level in the trades- jobs that not only require mechanical skills but critical thinking. I work in the nexus between technology, capital, national security and ensuring we are strong and relevant for the next generation.

California Forever is needlessly “right-coded” but in reality, it is the very essence of American and Californian optimism–that our best days are ahead of us, waiting to be built.

This—plus, California has some of the lowest per-capita emissions (mild climate) and highest per-capita GDP of any state. California Forever would be good for the planet and the economy by letting more people live in the state.

We left the Bay Area because it was too expensive

From what I know about what you're doing, I find excitement and possibility for setting an example and a benchmark for other communities to follow in designing with intentionality a city focused on the balance between thriving at the individual level and thriving as a community.

Please make this happen! California needs cities with better urban planning and land use! Set the example for others to follow with high and medium density mixed use zoning that allows people to use their legs instead of separating everyone into dangerous individual vehicles.

I want to prove to ourselves that we can envision and build again. We need homes, I hope my sons can stay in California. Projects like this give me hope they will be able to.

Better and affordable future

I am optimistic about California Forever. Everything I’ve seen and read so far looks like what the New Urbanists have been trying to get on the ground for 40 years. Including leveling the playing field so urbanism can get permitted as easily as sprawl.

I grew up in the Bay Area and then joined the Military. I see what Jan and California Forever are doing for California and this country, and I am in full support.

I wanted to do the same with a former industrial area in northern Spain. It's a wonderful project!

This new city, to me, is the perfect way to get on with building abundance in California.

California is one of the most beautiful and desirable places on earth. It’s also the world’s innovation hub. It’s time to build more homes and grow California. I’m also really excited to see a pedestrian and bike first American city get built. We need more of that.
