Having spent the first half of my life in Europe, I took for granted being able to walk to local shops, school, and work until I came to the US. All it takes to build such communities is vision, patience, common sense, teamwork, and openness – which is exactly what California Forever is proposing. Furthermore, beautiful communities are possible only if a diverse group of citizens and stakeholders have a shared commitment for a new community.
